Starting aft is a full width locker, created by a water tight bulkhead.  (Bulkhead 1).

The total space for this compartment totals about 10 ft x 4 ft x
5 ft or about 200 cubic ft total.

This compartment is then sub divided into two (2) compartments.

One is a propane storage compartment, located to port, that
contains four (4), lift truck aluminum propane tanks complete
with a heavier than air vent thru the stern.

A high pressure propane distribution manifold has been
constructed from spark free brass stock to simplify the
plumbing.

Top restraints for the propane tanks have been fabricated from
epoxy/glass/plywood.

It is equipped with a water tight deck hatch cover approximately
20"x26", resting on a 4" riser and secured from the inside using
3/8" lines.  There are no external lifting handles, hinges, etc.

The other locker is also accessable from a water tight deck
hatch cover approximately 30"x40", resting on a 4" riser and
secured from the inside using 3/8" lines.  There are no external
lifting handles, hinges, etc.

(This type design makes pilferage very difficult)

A ladder, built from construction grade 2x4's provides access
from the deck to the large compartment.  A "yacht grade" ladder
if required, comes later.

Think of this space as the "garage", a place to store all kinds
of stuff.

Things such as gasoline cans, paint cans, outboard engines, an
Avon type dinghy, etc.

A shelf complete with a fiddle has been constructed using
plywood core and epoxy/glass skins is located on the starboard
side specifically to hold gasoline cans.

It is also vented for lighter than air vapors.

A plywood core, epoxy/glass skin, grate is located in the bottom
of this compartment.

Provisions for a RULE 2000 bilge pump have been made, although
it is extremely unlikely this locker will ever see any water.
Pump mounting and plumbing hardware have been fabricated for
this compartment.

The hatch covers are constructed using using Divinycell foam,
epoxy and bi-axial glass and also include a hatch cover gasket.

Bronze vents complete with bronze window screens to prevent
entry of "critters" and fairing blocks have been fabricated, but
will not be installed until the stern receives final fairing.

Both compartments have been totally painted with epoxy high
build primer.

Bomar inspection hatches (2) will complete the compartments.

These compartments are more than 95% complete, Only a few
details, like locating some cleats, remain
.
