There is full width master stateroom located aft.
The plan is to convert the workshop bench located amidships into
a pilot berth for use while at sea.
Additional temporary berths can be made available for overnight
guests, but should not be so comfortable that they encourage
staying for long periods.

Master Stateroom:

The master stateroom is located immediately in front of the aft
lazarette (LOCKER) between bulkheads 1 & 2.
Bulkheads 1 & 2 are full bulkheads, 120" apart that extend fully
athwartship.
The support frame for a California king sized mattress, built
from plywood core and glass skins, has been glassed in place.
Plywood box stringers have been built and painted to support the
cover boards.
A maple spacer located on the top of the box stringer creates a
retainer for the cover boards.
They will be supported by the mattress frame to support the
cover boards and can be lifted out of the mattress frame to gain
access to the hull below.
The mizzen mast base plate has been located and glassed into the
hull.
The balance of the cabinetry, book shelves, etc remain to be
completed.
