Galley, Machinery, Work Shop/Pilot Berth Space:
_________________________________________________________________________

The galley, machinery, work shop/pilot berth space is immediately in
front of the head compartment between bulkheads 3 & 4.

Bulkheads 3 & 4 are full bulkheads, 120" apart that extend fully
athwartship.

This space is directly amidships and is almost 16 ft wide.

A workshop/pilot berth on the starboard side and a pullman style
galley located to port are planned.

The center section, located directly above the keel, is reserved for
the engine power train complete with a hydraulic pump operating from a
front PTO to power various hydraulic loads including windlass, bow
thruster, etc.

There are a total of 5 partial floors that form 6 compartments between
bulkheads 3 & 4.

It was decided to use ALL of this space, both port and starboard, to
form 12 individual fuel tanks (6/side). (See THE TANKS)

Turning an unused raw bilge space into finished tankage, eliminates
spaces under the sole that are difficult to gain access to, thus are
difficult to clean.
